Indeed it is surrounded by unspoilt nature of the marine park of Tavolara and is close to the Emerald Coast and its tourist services.<\/p>\n<h2>How to get to Capo Ceraso?<\/h2>\n<p>This stunning promontory is on the northeast coast of the island in front of Tavolara. Its location is strategic. Below <strong>the distance between Capo Ceraso and some ports and airports of Northern Sardinia<\/strong>:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Olbia airport 8 km away and 10 km from the port;<\/li>\n<li>Alghero airport 150 km;<\/li>\n<li>port of Porto Torres about 135 km away.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>From the porto of Olbia, at the exit from Viale Isola Bianca, turn left at the roundabout in Viale Principe Umberto and go straight on over the second roundabout till the junction with the flyover on the left. Continue straight on till the exit from Olbia, leaving behind other three roundabouts towards Siniscola \/ San Teodoro (those who leave the <strong>airport<\/strong> must take this roundabout on the right) and the Auchan Shop on the left.<\/p>\n<p>Then you must leave Olbia, always straight, cross a bridge and, after a few corners and three \/ four kilometers, you will find the small village of Murta Maria. Pay attention: there are some works in progress on the SS125 at the height of the Mobili del Sole shop. Here there is a roundabout where you have to go straight on.<\/p>\n<p>In Murta Maria at the first roundabout, turn left at the last way out for Capo Ceraso indicated by a brown sign. Then turn again after 500m at the junction where you will find the stop for Capo Ceraso on the left. Finally you reach by climbing the Capo Ceraso Resort.<\/p>\n<p>From Capo Ceraso you can easily reach by car <strong>the most famous places of Gallura \u2013 Emerald Coast<\/strong>: Porto Rotondo is 20 km away, Palau 50 km away and Santa Teresa di Gallura at about 65 km.<\/p>\n<h2>The area of Capo Ceraso<\/h2>\n<p>Capo Ceraso is in the hamlet of Murta Maria in the Gulf of Olbia. It delimits the protected marine area of Tavolara to the north. It is a granite promontory covered with Mediterranean vegetation. The beaches are absolutely its main attraction. <strong>The most known beaches of the head of the promontory are<\/strong>: <em>Porto Vitellu, Porto Casu, Punta Ruja<\/em>. <strong>To the north<\/strong> there are <em>Punta Trofino, Cala sa Figu e Li Cuncheddi<\/em><em>\u00a0<\/em>at Sos Pazziseddos. <strong>In Porto Istana area to the south<\/strong>, we recommend <em>Sas Enas Appara and\u00a0Porto Legnaiolo<\/em>.<\/p>\n<p>The smallest and wildest beaches, such as <strong>Porto Casu, Punta Ruja and Punta Trofino<\/strong>, have coarse sand and a few rocks. They are not overly popular because around there are other beaches you can reach more easily. To get to these beaches you have to walk. Some of them have a pine grove where to eat and shelter during the hottest hours. The sunset is extremely impressive.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Porto Istana and Li Cuncheddi<\/strong> instead are well served by public transport. Here you can leave your car in parking area for free or fee. There are restaurants and snack bars. You can rent different types of equipment for water sports and attend courses.
