Positive flight traffic forecast for Olbia Costa Smeralda Airport<\/a>, which will increase the flight offer of + 5% during summer 2018, about 165,000 more seats than last year, with 13 new connections, of which 12 international and one national.<\/p>\n

Traffic estimates are significant when you consider that in 2015 the offer of flights increased by + 32% (845,000 people), enabling passengers a wide range of choices.<\/p>\n

The Costa Smeralda Airport will have a network of 130 total connections (scheduled and charter) operated by over 30 companies. The main changes concern the network of international routes, which will be expanded with the arrival of a new partner, S7 Airlines, and the activation of 12 new products.<\/p>\n

In detail, the S7 Airlines<\/a> will connect Olbia with Moscow Domodedovo, the low-cost airline Transavia<\/a> Olbia to Paris Orly, Condor<\/a> airline will offer three additional connections to Dusseldorf, Hanover, and Monaco, meanwhile, the low-cost airline Eurowings<\/a> will propose a new flight to Nuremberg.<\/p>\n

It is estimated that international passengers traffic will represent more than 50% of the total. Overall, this segment will increase by 13%.<\/p>\n

About charter flights, it will be activated for the first time a connection to Portugal (Lisbon) and increased those from France (Clermont Ferrand), England (Bristol) and Poland (Warsaw).<\/p>\n

A large increase in capacity offered during support: 9.6% compared to the same period of 2017, due to the increase of flights frequencies of airlines such as Norwegian<\/a>, Eurowings, and EasyJet<\/a>.<\/p>\n

On the national side, the news concerning the activation of the new flight of Neos<\/a> to Milano Malpensa, and Volotea<\/a> to Bergamo, starting from March the connections for Verona, Naples, and Torino.<\/p>\n

2018 network has two important features: a significant increase in of seat numbers offered and a consolidation of the growth of the flows during the winter, and the support time, driven by international markets constantly increasing.<\/p>\n
