Positive flight traffic forecast for Olbia Costa Smeralda Airport, which will increase the flight offer of + 5% during summer 2018, about 165,000 more seats than last year, with 13 new connections, of which 12 international and one national.

Traffic estimates are significant when you consider that in 2015 the offer of flights increased by + 32% (845,000 people), enabling passengers a wide range of choices.

The Costa Smeralda Airport will have a network of 130 total connections (scheduled and charter) operated by over 30 companies. The main changes concern the network of international routes, which will be expanded with the arrival of a new partner, S7 Airlines, and the activation of 12 new products.

In detail, the S7 Airlines will connect Olbia with Moscow Domodedovo, the low-cost airline Transavia Olbia to Paris Orly, Condor airline will offer three additional connections to Dusseldorf, Hanover, and Monaco, meanwhile, the low-cost airline Eurowings will propose a new flight to Nuremberg.

It is estimated that international passengers traffic will represent more than 50% of the total. Overall, this segment will increase by 13%.

About charter flights, it will be activated for the first time a connection to Portugal (Lisbon) and increased those from France (Clermont Ferrand), England (Bristol) and Poland (Warsaw).

A large increase in capacity offered during support: 9.6% compared to the same period of 2017, due to the increase of flights frequencies of airlines such as Norwegian, Eurowings, and EasyJet.
