Luxury-focused event featured presentations by renowned professionals, market trends and strategies.
Immobilsarda recently joined an elite group of other luxury real estate specialists at a Global Conference at the Hotel Arts Barcelona in Barcelona, Spain. The invitation-only event hosted by Christie’s International Real Estate, the world’s leading luxury real estate network, took place April 9 and 10 and attracted more than 109 luxury real estate specialists from 31 countries.
Both the specialized EMEA conference and the subsequent Global Conference served as an opportunity for Affiliate representatives to network with their esteemed colleagues, share successful strategies and harvest industry knowledge through presentations by distinguished professionals on topics including the use of data to market art and real estate effectively, recent trends in the residential real estate markets, and visa incentive programs for real estate investment. The conference presented Affiliates with the opportunity to cross-market their properties and benefit from the global scope of the Christie’s International Real Estate Affiliate network. Attendees also participated in breakout sessions focused on the development of enhanced property marketing programs and how to position luxury properties for sale globally. The event culminated with cocktails and a dinner featuring Spanish wine pairings presented by a Christie’s wine specialist.
The highlight of the conference was a presentation by celebrated architect Daniel Libeskind – the visionary behind the Jewish Museum Berlin and the reconstruction of the World Trade Center site in lower Manhattan, as well as a number of the world’s finest luxury residential developments — who led a discussion titled “Dreams That Money Can Buy.” The conference also included discussions on brand messaging, sales maximization strategies, cross-marketing techniques to reach feeder markets, and strategies for pursuing business in emerging markets. Christie International Real Estate also unveiled its second White Paper, an authoritative research report on the state of the luxury international real estate market.
The global conference also highlighted the significant worldwide growth of the Affiliate network. In 2013, Affiliate network sales volumes worldwide rose 30 percent, crossing $100 billion for the first time.
