Giancarlo Bracco, Immobilsarda partner and founder and president of FIABCI Italia attended in the 64th FIABCI World Congress in Luxembourg, which has been an international event, full of guests with a strong cultural and financial background.
The conference opened with the speech of Jeremy Rifkin, pioneer economist who advocates a “green future ” in terms of energy and communications. Rifkin believes that in 2050 there will be no more need for fossil fuels or nuclear energy, thanks to the energy “green” of internet that will allow the connection between buildings able of producing and exchanging renewable energy. In his book “The Third Industrial Revolution” the well-known economist points out that this combination of new media and renewable energies could lead to the birth of a new financial and social system.
The meeting continued in the name of innovation, with the speech of Zhang Yue who dealt with the theme “Cities and Technology” thanks to his experience as chairman of BROAD Group, which has led him to build a 30-storey building in only 15 days, using the most modern and innovative construction techniques.
The Congress also hosted a presentation by Mr Michael Jeffery, former General Governor of Australia, founder and first president of Future Directions International, as well as Paul James, professor at RMIT Global Cities Institute and Director of the Joint United Nations Programme on Global Compact, which focused on the ongoing dialogue at the international level, relating to sustainability, environment and alternative energy, encouraging collaboration among all levels of society.
Among the guests also the Grand Duke and Grand Duchess of Luxembourg who have been accepted at the New Conference Centre Kirchberg during the speech of the French engineer and architect Rudy Ricciotti, the author of some of the most important architectural projects in France, including the hall of the Rock Stadium in Vitrolles, the National Choreographic Centre of Aix -en -Provence, the Palais des Festivals in Venice, etc.
In the program of the World Congress there were also several sessions dedicated to marketing, the gala dinner of the Prix d’Excellence and a tour in Luxemburg to learn about the culture and the city real estate development projects.
Four days full of high-level stimuli, as part of “FIABCI family“, focusing on new business prospects, global networking opportunities and new scenarios in the Real Estate in its broadest sense.
